Compete for the title and pull in an extra $500 while helping raise some awareness for Lacasa, Inc.
The fastest kayakers 50 and over for both men and women, for men and women under 50 (must be 16 years of age for the competition) will each win $500. Participants who float from Rogers Park in Goshen to Ox Bow Park will be in a drawing for another $500. That makes a total of $2500 in prizes in addition to the titles of ERC Champions 2022!

In your registration packet (for “participants” and not competitors) will be a gate pass to Ox Bow Park, so people helping kayakers’ transportation from Elkhart County’s Ox Bow Park can get in without any additional park fees. PLEASE BE CAREFUL.
Drivers should make their way to the Honey Locust Shelter (CLICK FOR PARK MAP). There is plenty of parking, although another group does have that shelter reserved. There is plenty of space between the parking spaces and the short trail to the Elkhart River, where the portage will be marked.
